April 22, 2012—Brainerd, MN-“Tumbled Dry,” a first collection of poetry published by author, Charmaine Donovan, Brainerd, is a finalist in the Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards. Eligible books must substantially represent the northeastern Minnesota with regards to its heritage, history, culture or lifestyle. Prizes are in six categories. All books nominated must be published in English and bound paper format. The 24th Annual Awards will be presented on May 17 at University of Minnesota Duluth.
Donovan has poetry forthcoming in Volume 21 of The Talking Stick. She also has poems which has received preliminary acceptance in the anthologies, “Gratitude Prayers” and “The Joys of Grandparenting.”
