On February 14th, I had the privilege of meeting Rez Life Author David Treuer during his visit to Brainerd Minnesota as part of his recent national book tour. My client (and friend) Mary Aalgaard and I were both mesmerized by his knowledge, insight and uplifting message about Native life on the reservation. The picture he gives reservation life is that of survival. The book is as amazing as the reviews that have been written about it. I hope you have a chance to meet him on his tour. Make a point of it.
