
TUCSON FESTIVAL of BOOKS, March 2015, Tucson, Arizona, University of Arizona. Krista Rolfzen Soukup was a featured presenter along with best-selling author David Henry Sterry and Lisa Dietlin, a national recognized strategist and author, presented ‘The Inside Scoop From Book Marketing Pros’. The session provided marketing strategy direction in a crowded marketplace. Krista also presented the workshop ‘The Author as Speaker’, presenting techniques and insight for authors wanting to build their readership base through speaking and presentations.
The Tucson Festival of Book began in 2009 and is now one of the nation’s largest and most vibrant literary festivals. Offered free-of-charge, the festival exists to improve literacy rates among children and adults. Over 350 authors participate in presentations and workshops attracting diverse audiences. There is something for everyone at the Tucson Festival of Books, offering programming for children and teens, panels by best-selling and emerging authors, a literary circus, culturally diverse programs, a poetry venue, exhibitor booths and two food courts. In 2014, over 130,000 book-lovers visited the Festival. Founders of the Tucson Festival of Books include business, university and philanthropic leaders.
