Nostaligia.  I love Nostalgia.  That’s probably why one of my favorite places is the little book store, Bookin’ It, located  in Little Falls Minnesota.  A perfect place to meet photographer Deane Johnson and author Jill Johnson, husband and wife and the collaborators of  Little Minnesota.  The Johnson’s and their book are delightful.  I’ve lived in several communities across Minnesota (South Dakota and North Dakota too, I might add) and loved looking at the beautiful photography and words within  this book that take a nostalgic look at Minnesota’s smallest towns with populations around 100.  Although I have never lived in the towns featured, I have been through many of them.  Thanks for sharing their stories, Deane and Jill!
