Heartland Poets and the Crossing Arts Alliance will be hosting a poetry reading and special musical performance by Brother Timothy Frantzich at the Last Turn Saloon and Eatery in Brainerd on Friday, July 20, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Poets from around the state attending the 25th annual League of Minnesota Poetry summer retreat in Northern Minnesota will be reading at the event. The event will also welcome community members to share their poetry.  This event is free and open to the public.  The Heartland Poets and Crossing Arts Alliance encourage the public to attend this unique experience of the literary arts.

Some Nice Words

“When I needed a publicist to help promote my book, The Lily of the West, I found there were quite a few available, but upon discovering the highly recommended  Krista Rolfzen Soukup and Blue Cottage Agency, there was no need to look further. Krista is reliable, creative, ethical and well connected. She personifies that elusive quality of being a straight-shooter who is kind and non-judgmental. She’s been a tremendous help to me and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Simply the best.”
